The Pre-school is a thriving group catering for the young children in Naphill / Walter’s Ash and surrounding areas of High Wycombe.

At the beginning of September 2008 the Pre-school was moved to a new purpose built building, in the grounds of Naphill & Walters Ash School.

This moved prompted the Pre-School to be re-named in line with its new location. Our new name is ‘Little Ash’ – Naphill & Walters Ash Pre-School.

We offer children the opportunity to learn through play and planned learning activities, in a stimulating and nurturing environment. This helps them to develop and prepare for all the early stages of life outside the family. We employ 5 staff – one supervisor, one deputy and three “pre-school assistants”.

We are registered with the Charity Commission as an educational charity (reg Charity 1031070), and are run by a parent management committee, which is very active in social and fundraising events.

Our most recent Ofsted inspection in April 2007 concluded that we provide “good” quality care for children. This is the benchmark proven to be effective in promoting outcomes for children.

We are also a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance.
